Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)

300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

To make the Cocktail (makes 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Instructions

To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed items into a saucepan, bring to a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, remove from the stove allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Transfer into a sterilised bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around a month.

For the Batch Mix: Pour the specified liquids into one big jug, leave to sit for an hour, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.

When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the premix into your mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring lightly for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain to a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch using a light spray with the mandarin essence over the drink.
